Yokohama fender 4500×9000 is the super large standard size of this fender. They are designed for large docks’ berthing and ship to ship operation. Yokohama fenders are also called pneumatic fenders, which can endure large berthing impacts.
When working, Yokohama fenders will be filled with air or hydrogen, which can provide large compression capability for them. Also, because of the oval shape, Yokohama fenders can also endure large shear forces for inclined berthing.
Yokohama fenders will always float on the water if not damaged or deflated. Thus, they are perfect for the docks with large tidal variations. And they are also convenient for being the cushion fender of ship to ship operation. When need, they can inflated, and when off work, they can be deflated to restore. Large storage space will be saved for ships.
The Yokohama fenders are connected with the chains. Both ends of the Yokohama fenders have tow rings. It is easy for the fenders to install both on docks or ships.
