The model 200×200×75 of square type composite fenders are designed to be 200mm in width and height and 75mm in the inner diameter. The fender is called composite fender because the fender consists of two parts. The rubber fender part is used as cushion to reduce the impacts and the UHMW-PE face pad is used as contact pad.
The cushion part is manufactured with high-quality rubber materials. Elastomer is the main feature of this part and that’s why the impacts can be reduced. UHMW-PE face pad can help to reduce friction so that on berthing process, the hull pressure can be reduced and vessel hulls can be protected.
People usually take two installation methods. One is to take use of the row of anchoring holes in the middle of the fender body and the other is to take advantage of the steel bars as assistance. These two installation methods are popularly chosen all these years for they can save a lot of time and money for customers.
