The model 200×200×100 has been slightly modified from the model 200×200×75 of square type composite fenders. This little modification enlarges the inner diameter of the fenders to be 100mm. That only changes the cushion part but the UHMW-PE face pad remains the same.
Square type composite fenders are manufactured to be square rubber fenders vulcanized with an inseparable UHMW-PE face pad. Therefore, the whole properties of the composite fenders have been improved. The large inner chamber makes the fender no longer rigid as usual. The composite fenders are being endowed with higher energy absorption and low reaction force. The UHMW-PE face pad has also lowered down the friction to provide better protection for vessel hulls.
Together with the high performance of the composite fenders, the square type composite fenders have also taken the most economical two installation methods. One is mounting via a-row of pre-drilled holes and the other is mounting with the assistance of the steel bars.
