The Performance Curve of Roller Fender:
Roller Fenders in Factory:
Introduction:
Roller fender is used on exposed corners and narrow channels such as locks and dry dock entrances, to help vessels berth. This fender is mounted on a fixed axle supported by a special steel frame. The main body of this fender is a rubber wheel. Hit by a berthing vessel, It can rotate to low down the friction and hull pressure. It can also guide the vessel to berthing on the right direction. Roller fender, as one type of the rolling fender, has similar function as wheel fender, but its maximum deflection rate is far more less than that of wheel fender.
