Laminated D-guard fenders are made of reinforced rubber which is more economical, durable, and practical than virgin rubber products. With the feature of all laminated fenders, the rubber units of laminated D-guard fenders are compressed onto steel rods and secured with heavy duty flatbar or angle. The weld tabs that are welded directly to hull are compressed onto steel rods, too. This mounting method can reduce extra costs associated with pinning extruded rubber into channel. Each weld tab can work independently and thereby providing quick installation on irregular and damaged hulls. Consisting of tough piles of reinforced rubber, this fender can virtually eliminate chipping, unlike extruded and molded rubber fenders. To provide tight joint for two or more units, rubber is tapered at ends.
We can provide laminated D-guard fenders with or without a cylindrical or D-shaped bore or other variable shapes. Sizes and shapes can be provided on request.
