Floating fenders are designed to float on the water without the affection of the tidal variation. This helps a lot for docks who are not suitable for berthing because of the rise and fall of the tides. This middle standard size of floating fenders can be used for many areas.
The rubber layer, packing layer and the steel bar together form the main body of floating fenders. The main body is sealed by towing ring and flanges. On the outside of the floating fenders, chain and tire net and other materials can be added to prolong the lifespan of the fenders.
The rubber layer is made of high-quality rubber materials. The packing layer is made of highly elastomeric materials. They together form the cushion part which can provide high energy absorption and low reaction force. The steel bar are reinforced to support the whole fender.
The chains are used as the assistant installation equipment. Connected with the floating fenders, chains are fixed onto the dock structures at another ends. This installation method can make the fenders remain flexible and keep in the right place.
