Corner fenders contain three types of fenders, including corner D fenders, corner GD fenders, and corner V fenders. For most cases, all of them can be used for a certain dock corners. But the difference between the shape of them determines that they have slight differences and they can be used in different situations.
Corner fenders are modified from equivalent rubber fenders, like D fenders, GD fenders, arch fenders. They are designed to be in right angle to fit for the sharp corner. Corner fenders like corner V fenders and corner GD fenders generally have larger anchoring force than corner D fenders for their two-row anchoring holes.
All types of the corner fenders can be manufactured with rubber material or PU material. The reinforced rubber material can usually provide higher energy absorption and lower reaction force, while PU material are visible in the evening, which can reduce a lot of berthing accidents in the evening.
