The model 80×80×42 is the smallest standard size of trapezium type composite fender. This composite fenders are designed to be the shape of trapezium in cross-section. As all the other type of composite fenders, trapezium type composite fenders consist of two parts. One is the trapezium rubber fender used as the cushion part and the other is UHMW-PE face pad used as the contact part.
The cushion part of the trapezium type composite fenders is manufactured with high quality rubber materials. The elastomeric rubber material provide the whole fender with high energy absorption and low reaction force. The imbedded UHMW-PE face pad is wear-resistant and can provide low friction. This feature can help to protect the vessel hulls to the utmost.
There are two installation methods optional. The trapezium type composite fenders are pre-drilled with anchoring holes. This make the whole installation process easier for buyers. The composite fender can also be mounted with the assistance of steel bars.
