The model 1320×510 of roller fenders is the fender with the diameter of 1080mm and the thickness of 460mm. This fender consists of two parts, the rubber roller as the cushion part and the steel frame as the supporting part. Other dimensions of roller fenders can be provided on request.
Made of high-quality rubber material, the rubber roller of the fender is resilient and robust. The rubber roller is mounted onto a special designed steel frame. These two parts form a pretty large fender equipment. Because the rubber roller is mounted onto the axle of the steel frame, the rubber roller can rotate in a radius around the axle on the berthing process. Thus the friction and impacts can be greatly reduced.
Roller fenders usually work as two roles on the docks. One is a cushion between vessels and docks structures and the other is a guide for roller fenders to berth towards the right direction. They are set at the entrance of inland waterway channel, locks, dry docks and other narrow or exposed areas. Furthermore, they can also be equipped at the dock corners.
