The model F500×1000L stands for the floating fenders with the diameter of 500mm and the length of 1000mm with the maximum deviation of ±4. The floating fenders are usually used for some docks with periodic rise and fall of the sea level. Connected with chains, the floating fenders will not be misplaced.
Floating fenders are popular around the world for their excellent adaptability to the docks with large tidal variations. That’s because they can always remain on the water and their position can vertically change according to the sea level. Thus, the materials that light but resistant to bear large berthing impacts. The floating fenders will also use a steel bar to support the whole fenders.
The packing layer and the rubber layer are sealed by the towing ring and the flanges. This will help to prevent the materials exposed and the air inside leaks out. The materials used to produce the packing layer and the rubber layer are elastic, robust and resistant so that the whole fenders will not be damaged on large deflection.
