Arch rubber fender is a simple and robust fender design, which is also called V type rubber fender due to its profile. And super arch fenders come into berth as improved arch rubber fenders thereafter. Compared with arch rubber fenders, super arch rubber fenders possess about 5% higher rated deflection than that of arch fenders. But in actual supply market, super arch fenders will not be highlighted. They are also called arch rubber fenders, but different physical properties of them can be provided according to customers requests.
The arch rubber fenders are used for more than 60 years since invented in the 1960s. They were applied to a wide variety of berths and wharves where they have endured the test of time and severe conditions.
Frontal panel and UHMW-PE face pad are assembled to arch fenders in application, for this installation method can help greatly reduce the hull pressure and friction. The lifespan can be extended as well.
The most popular sizes are SA300H, SA400H, SA500H, SA600H, SA800H, and SA1000. For detailed information and sizes of arch fenders, you can refer to super arch type rubber fenders(Click Here). The SA600H can be classified as another middle type of arch fenders, but the various lengths are optional.
