There are main two materials to choose from, rubber and polyurethane. Rubber is durable and robust. However, polyurethane fender bars have a number of advantages over rubber versions. Higher wear resistance and lower friction are the typical features of polyurethane fender bars. This material can greatly lower down the hull pressure to protect the vessels. And it can be produced in various striking colors, which can increase the safety.
