Marine Protection Plate Drawing and Dimensions:
Introduction:
Marine protection plates (MPP) are resilient bumpers designed for quays, usually used as a replaceable face pad of a fender system. It is also directly assembled to the quay walls as a cushion to reduce impact force, to protect both vessels and quay walls from abrasion, when small vessels are mooring. It is ideal for applications where the distance between boats and docks must be minimized. A heavy duty steel back plate is vulcanized into rubber body, so that the plates are more tough and robust and only few fixing bolts are required because of the technical improvement.
