Corner V fender belongs to one type of corner fenders, while it is modified version from V fenders. With the simple but robust “V” shape in cross-section, the corner V fenders can provide reasonable energy absorption. To fit for the dock corners, the corner V fenders are designed to be in right angle in length.
Corner V fenders can be manufactured with reinforced rubber materials or PU materials. The rubber materials provide better performance on elastomer which means high energy absorption but low reaction. The PU materials can be made visible even in the evening. This will help greatly reduce the accidental collision on berthing process.
Decades of application of rubber fenders has brought out many different installation methods. The most economical and efficient one is to mount via pre-drilled anchoring holes. Only several anchoring bolts and nuts can help to install the fenders. Customer can save a lot of time and money with this installation method.
