Composite fenders are combinations of two parts. One is the rubber cushion used as the energy absorption part and the other is the UHMW-PE face pad designed as the face contact part to reduce friction and protect the vessels’ hull.
Keyhole type composite fenders are manufactured with the high-quality rubber material and the wear-resistant UHMW-PE face pad. The face pads are culvanized into the rubber fenders as a whole. This improvement on the fenders strengthens the robustness of the composite fenders compared with the keyhole fenders with mounted UHMW-PE pad.
The model 250 of keyhole type composite fenders stands for the fenders with the width and height of 250mm. This standard size makes the fenders can be applied to many scenarios including workboats, barges, water locks and so on. With excellent physical performance on energy absorption and low friction, the keyhole type composite fenders can provide good protection for both dock structures and vessels.
With the assistance of steel bars and anchoring bolts and nuts, the composite fenders can be well installed.
