Super cell rubber fender is a well designed fender with the shape of a drum. The fender body is manufactured as a hollow cylindrical tube with rubber-embedded mounting flanges. During the berthing process, compressed by the impact, the fender will deflect in an axial direction. The rated deflection is 52.5% and maximum deflection is 55%, which is the same to most other types of fenders. After years being invented, the rubber fenders still take its place with some minor improvements, even though the newest version called cone rubber fender was invented.
Most cell fenders are designed to be the main part of a fender system. And the sizes are usually large. The models like SC800, SC1000 which is pretty big for other types fenders, can only be regarded as the minor middle sizes(for other detailed sizes and information, please refer to super cell type rubber fender).
Years of tests prove the durability and hard resistance of cell fenders. When used to incorporate a fender system, cell fenders will always be assembled with frontal panel and UHMW-PE face pad, to carry out heavy duty in severe situations.
